what is gold-filled?
Gold-Filled Jewelry is comprised of solid gold that is pressure bonded with jewelers brass. Whereas, gold plated jewelry contains a very thin layer of solid gold (0.05%) on top of a base material. Unlike gold plated jewelry that can easily wear off and tarnish; gold-filled jewelry is more durable, safe for most sensitive skin and water resistant.
